Waiting on New Trucks thread.

I doubt that….. just waiting for a few chips

 

I wouldn't have thought so either. I wonder if there will warranty issues from setting.

Some people scored BIG with those trucks if you're selling. I wish I had more money to invest to get two trucks/trailers when I started. At least it would give me a leg up starting out. But who knew this is going to happen.
Though I feel sorry for anyone starting out at this time. I don't see the end of the tunnel...

Not a good time for small owners when their trucks are used up and there is need RIGHT NOW to get something to replace one.

Hopefully, I will float in the meantime. Though this year was pricey with all the repairs on mine. I will just keep my fingers crossed I'll be okay next year or two.

 

What if you need to do an oil change?

Walmart is the same way…… oops guess you can get 3 gallons @ $45 something…..

 

Bulk doesn't seem to be in short supply. Maybe order a drum of oil?

 

We have had delays on our bulk fill twice this year. 10-30 Mobil

We got by on drums for a stint. The last fill made it before we were completely empty.

The bare shelves are not a good sign at all. I might start saving empty drums to save some extra for backup.

 

Stretch out the oil changes. Sometimes you can just do a filter change. My paccar has a centrifugal filter, so I change that and the primary. I use to run bypass filters but the new trucks have them built in I'll not change my oil less than 75k apart.

 

I dont get to make that call....

When you say I want an oil change- you get an oil change.

Some months it goes faster than others.

Some days 6 Pm's .......some days none.
