Those aren’t new trucks. They’re used trucks with a Cat repower and then the title gets changed to an “assembled” vehicle title with an updated model year. They used to run an ad on Truckpaper saying they would buy any 389 with up to 600k miles on it.
Waiting on New Trucks thread.

The local Freightliner has been the same way since Covid. Every spot is full. Only used trucks for sale. They paved the parking lot and changed the shop parking to make more room and they still don’t have enough spaces.
Luckily for me and my old truck I don’t have to wait more than a day or two for any part.Opendeckin, ducnut, Feedman and 3 others Thank this. -
That one is listed as used. Others on there are listed as new.Cat sdp Thanks this.

What is a assembled title…… I think I need that
Oxbow Thanks this. -
They were up until the digital dash came out. Now the dash doesn’t play nice with old engines. I heard they swapped a new one when the dash first came out and they couldn’t get it to turn over. If you look at the interior pics of the trucks they have for sale they will all have gauges.ducnut, Opendeckin, Siinman and 2 others Thank this.
