Good set up but agree the flat top will hurt you a little I bet. The real issue will be the programming on that truck.

The 13 speed in that set up is made to run in UD,Direct, and OD for all different conditions. This is a good set up but will need to be modified to his work on the programming side.

That ole Jimmy would be perfect!

@tramm01 is on to bigger and better things unfortunately, but he'd look good in that!

You’d think. But it’s been two years and nothing so far. I’m a little surprised the EPA hasn’t gone looking around Elkhorn Valley yet considering all the advertising they do about their repower. Maybe there’s a loophole with the assembled title.

A pretty new cab and chassis with a new, warranted 2ws, newish running gear and the creature comforts of a newer truck would certainly be worth as much to me as a brand new anything else. Especially if it was legal, which I assume it is. We deal with Cat on all our equipment anyway, so the chances of getting parts and timely repairs would almost assuredly be as good or better than any new truck with emission compliant engines, at least for our regional use.

Monday morning everyone still waiting on Trucks should call the Dealership and inquire on their order. Where’s my ####ing Truck!! Put the pressure on,
start renegotiating prices. Starting with the surprise small print surcharge they added while you’ve been waiting. Volvo factory in Va. lot is full of Trucks ready to go. Maybe waiting on parts? I don’t know.

I would bet most are waiting on parts. Mine was built for over a month waiting on part shortage issues. So bet they are still cranking out and missing lots of parts these days. I know the 13 and 14 speed was getting hard to get and would bet a lot of the new orders are 13 speed.
