Yes sorry…I fudged up when replying, here it is:

    April 29, 2023 Update:

    April 29, 2023
    389 Peterbilt - 75.........3 389X's
    579 Peterbilt - 95
    T680 KW - 143
    W9 KW - 45
    Cascadia - 48
    Volvo Family - 66
    Mack - 41
    International - 35

548 total units of 2023 and 2024 trucks for sale. 32 more units from last week. That's a 6% increase from last week and 31% increase since I started tracking this 5 weeks ago. That number is probably well understated too after taking a browse through facebook and the e-mails I'm getting. These days instead of getting e-mails for loads available I'm getting them from dealers with equipment for sale. I can't imagine just how many 2019 to 2021 trucks are for sale. These dealers have to be sitting on some major losses.

Auction prices are in free fall too. This past week 2019-2020 trucks with 400K miles were going for $50K.

It was a 455 HP VGT not TC with 2.47 direct drive. They did 1250 RPM at around 57 I think and that was the sweet spot on it.

I drove by Hurricanes yard in Oklahoma today and I just don’t get it. I bet they had at least 100 trailers and 75 trucks there. You know 90% of those trailers were empty. I counted at least 15 new trucks, including 5 of those 325 inch 389s.

Being from this area I haul the same customers as they do and know they’ve experienced rate cuts too. A matter of a fact I know they came in and underbid everyone for the west coast lanes of my main customer.

They just don’t pass the smell test and there are a lot in this area who think the same.

No doubt. They need someone to make those truck payments for them. They need meat in the seat.

Oh I forgot too, they have 5 new trucks at Thermo King dealer getting APUs on too.

    JoeyJunk and ducnut Thank this.
