An increase of 33 from the previous week and over 100% since I started tracking. And daily on Facebook I'm seeing the Peterbilt salesmen post trucks for sale that aren't on TruckPaper yet.

I just don't see how any bank would approve financing these days without at least 25% downpayment.

 

IMO, that’s a steep number, for the repo. At least have it professionally detailed to try and justify the price.

 

Paccar sure has a lot sitting . New ones must pricey or inefficient compared to others..

 

Look at MHC. If you got to their website they have 448 used trucks. A lot of them are the traded in fleet trucks. Thats still a lot of capital tied-up with zero indication of any recovery coming. I would think sending a good chunk to auction at this point would make sense.

 

I am surprised to see that many T680's but not surprised on the Peterbilt's gaining that many.

 

Peterbilt service is not known for good service… probably the worst out of the bunch.

100% in how many weeks ?

 

They are still not lowering their prices until they sit for 60 days.

 

MHC has a ton of the T-680s from Melton and so does Melton truck sales. Neither are negotiating on price.

 

Just mailed the check on a new wagon: no room to move on the price according to the salesman.
