Waiting on New Trucks thread.

So two new trucks i have coming in, one arrives at the dealership and the other one is seized by ICE when it tried to cross the border with some illegals hiding in it. Have had a lot of weird things happen over the years but have to say this is a first for me

 

I'm literally speechless.

 

50,000 miles so far, not any big issues. Ambient temp gauge went bonkers.

 

Holy cow. That is crazy. Hope they did not destroy it or try and get drugs across the border in it. Sure they would tear it to pieces if so. Keep us updated on how this ends. Sorry for your bad luck man. Seems like a lot of that going around these days.

 

I always request mine to be lead trucks so they have some miles when i get them but don't know if it was lead or decked. It has been released now, imagine it happens more than you would think. Just had to laugh when the salesman called to tell me.

 

Oh I am sure it does in this day and age nothing surprises me. Glad that it was released already and hopefully you get it soon.

I've read a few rumbles recently that the new truck supply shortage may be easing up slightly, primarily because some Mega's are expecting an economic slowdown and orders are now being cancelled? In any case, I finally got word today that my T680 ordered in early June (450hp MX13, 12spd Endurant, 72" HiRise, 2.79 rears, Michelin tires, deleted Bendix Wingman, Alcoa wheels but otherwise generally low bling for $172k - FET included) is now being built and should be shipping shortly. Maybe some of you guys who were getting disappointing build ETA's or outright refused should check in again to see if there's been any change?

Now if I could just have some luck finding a new dry van for this truck (for a realistic price)...

 

One of the new Cascadia's arrived yesterday, the one that was seized was released to the transport company so they have 14 days to get it to the dealer. The two Volvo's ordered have a build date for mid march. Have to give credit to Volvo, they didn't add anything to the price for the trucks being a model year newer.
