    Here's this week's update.

    June 17, 2023
    389 Peterbilt - 150.........9 389X's
    579 Peterbilt - 158
    T680 KW - 380
    W9 KW - 84
    Cascadia - 55
    Volvo Family - 82
    Mack - 50
    International - 76

An increase of 45 from the previous week and almost 150% since I started this journey. As someone mentioned there's a few dealers that have cut their prices. I mean they have to if they have any hope of selling trucks.

I was catching up on the auction from this past week and some crazy pricing compared to what they are still asking for new ones:

    -2024 International LT625 with a 450 Cummins...34K miles...went for $134,000...one that had 39K miles went for $118,000
    -2024 Volvo 860 with 455 Volvo....15K miles....went for $175,000 (there was 2 of them)
    -2023 Volvo 860 with 455 Volvo....40K miles....went for $150,500
-About five 2021 to 2022 389s with mileage between 95K to 150K. They went from $142K to $149K. I'm thinking they might have came from Western Flyer Express. They are all specd the same and know they run a few 389s. Also they had some reefer trailers in the auction.

U aint kidding the auction prices for newer trucks is crazy low.. If i was in the market for one and wanted one id definately be at every auction looking over these new truck. Great deals out there...even the ones with 300k or less miles are going for around 50k... Market is complete opposite from a year and a half ago where that same truck woulda been 130k

On closer inspection those were WFX's 389's. They had a bunch of Cascadia's also in the auction. These were older and high mileage ones so I guess they are giving up some of 389s. I will say the 389s pricing held up pretty good compared to others.

Definitely it's good for buyer's looking to get a heck of a deal but bad for all these dealers sitting on used inventory. Some dealer's have some major losses sitting on their lot right now.

Let ‘em sit. The local dealer needs a reality check, wanting over $100K for Volvo 860’s with over 500K miles. Looked like the same number of them as ~6wks ago.

Cummins is more like, sorry we sold you a POS that we knew was going to fail, but we saved the day and now have a over priced update or repair kit to sell you that will fix the problem we created in the first place.

ducnut, Siinman, D.Tibbitt and 2 others Thank this.

I was in the Philippines this past winter. There's a pile of old pumpkins and JB's over there.
