most current fuels also go boom on the right conditions

Ill take hydrogen over electric, can’t even get a #### forklift to run 8 hours on a battery charge never mind a truck

I'm guessing that there will be a standard battery package at some point that slides in and out of a truck easily, and that truck stops will have battery swap locations with pre-charged batteries. It's still going to be a nightmare. Maybe Milwaukee tools will come up with a solution! Lol

Don’t be dropping your new trailers at Ford-KC. Guaranteed, they’ll be damaged. My trailer spot, tonight. She’s tight.

    I’m on the right.

I look at how many trucks pull into a truck stop to fuel and wonder how swapping batteries for about the same number of trucks would work. Just the storage for the number of batteries that would be required would be massive.
I don't know how many stops would be willing to invest in that when as fast as the technology is advancing their investment could be obsolete before they could even recover the money spent.

Agreed. I suspect that the players taking the "sit back and watch what happens" approach may be rewarded in the end. I suppose there is a lot of fed dollars pushing the current EV craze, but it sure looks like the cart is so far out in front of the horse that the horse will never catch up.
