I’m not sure of the standards, but I know the next round of emissions hit in 25. And the government hasn’t even really set the standards yet. Ask your salesman about it.

mine told me it’s gonna make 2008 look like a picnic……..

Cat and IH already have engines out for release in 27 or sooner. I believe that neither of them use EGR, but greater DEF consumption. Also, there is a rumor out that Cat is in talks with Paccar over providing truck engines again. This I heard from one of the folks at my local Cat dealer.

They will have to warranty emissions way longer so major price increases inbound

Cummins is booked out for this year and pretty much all of next year. KW will only put a Cummins in a W9. You can still order a 5 series Pete or a T680/W990 with the MX13 and get it in 2 months or less.

I doubt CAT makes a comeback to the truck engine market. But never say never…

It has a lot of potential. I would be pretty excited if they re-entered the truck market.

Every time I have to fix a light on this reefer trailer I remind myself why I said no more used equipment, I’ve probably dropped 100 pounds off my tare weight with the amount of butt connectors, red 16 ga wire, and electrical tape I’ve pulled off this trailer over the last few years

Had one of my O/O's want me to fix their chicken lights on the tractor. 7 butt connectors in 12" of wire. LOL
