Waiting on New Trucks thread.

I appreciate everyone's feedback on the bumper. I decided to pass on it. I can always install one later if I feel like it would be beneficial (I just hope I didn't jinx us).

 

I smacked a deer with my FLD. Had it out of the body shop for 8 days and hit another one. I got the truck back and put a Herd on it and never came close to hitting another one the rest of the time I owned my truck.

I appreciate your insightful comment. Perhaps I should have asked for you to neogiate the price on the 389 I tried to buy and I wouldn't even be here now. Call me crazy but my 389 plus $89K cash didn't make business sense but who knows some people would rather look cool and make a negative ROIC than a positive one.

I've owned 5 389's and this T680 will do the exact same thing as they did.

Oh no doubt, there will be some adjustments but luckily we run about 70% in the middle but yes it will be painful. That’s why I wanted a 500HP but the dealer that had it wasn’t playing ball so I went to the next game in town to play.

I even changed lanes a couple times trying to pick one off and they dodged me.

You'll get used to the power or lack of? Was your 389 a 550 or something? I can't imagine it's much noticeable difference powerwise. Modern engines are so choked off and sluggish to spool anyways. You're not going to miss that barn door blowing money out the stacks.
