Waiting on New Trucks thread.

I have no horse in the race, but behind the local Pete dealer I see about 3:1 Paccar blocks set out for return versus Cummins. This means nothing as they may sell three times as many trucks with Paccar engines, but it does make one wonder.

 

November 12th my truck and trailer were stolen at the TA in Vero Beach. 2021 Orange 389 and a brand new Great Dane dry van..literally just picked it up from the dealership.

Was parked in a reserved spot. I believe that I saw your Volvo in the row facing mine but towards the other end.

Be very careful down there, had my fuel siphoned there also the previous month..The Peterbilt locking fuel caps did nothing to stop the theft.

Tomorrow morning my nightmare comes to an end..Picking up a new 389 I ordered after my last one disappeared.

Sucks what that tow company did to your truck and I hope you prevail.

 

I base my opinion on what a local company here has gone thru with running both and now exclusively spec paccar engines in their KW’s.

 

Just ordered 2 more trucks, same internationals so going to see how long they take.

I hope they come before next winter!

 

thanks for the heads up in the area. I hardly ever leave my truck other than to shower and eat. If I was parked across from you and they stole it would had been nice if I knew that as I have a dash cam and could maybe helped you find out who it was.

That sucks and my camera info only goes back a week . I hope they find who stole your truck and bend them over. What a shame to have to deal with that. At least you are getting new truck fairly fast and not having to wait for a year. Hopefully you have great fortune with the new truck and make a killing for missing all that time out.

How do you keep anything even half clean? I’ve given up until it warms up.

 

62 Days after my truck was seized if got here yesterday. My humor about the whole situation ran out a couple of weeks ago. LOL
