I was, then started talking to drivers and got a feel for what o/o's want then offered it and they've started to roll in. I'm just 100% honest and completely transparent and so far it seems to be working.

Leased drivers are on my cargo and auto liability(which I pay for) Which is all you need for your authority. My truck is still on there. I offer my leased o/o physical and collision for their trucks and trailers or they can get their own. But they pay for that

We do something similar. I don't lease on guys because I'm protecting my authority. I'm scared of one guy screwing it up for everyone else. So we provide dispatching and compliance for a very fair price. Just like you though, being a driver, I just listened to what other drivers wanted.

I got notice today that one truck has been released and is at the place getting the PDI inspection done. More details to follow...

This one was built 10 weeks ago.

Man, that’s food for thought! If they hadn’t cancelled my March orders then I may have considered it. Probably not but possibly. I definitely would have sold the one from the clutch thread though but I better keep it now.

Put it for sale and say in the description something like:"Great truck! Maintained by local Kenworth dealership. Needs nothing, but new clutch. Only selling, because can't find a driver"
