I’m interested in seeing how you get along with your new APU. I’m assuming your solar panel is on the roof.

    Siinman Thanks this.

After contacting over 35 plus something used truck dealerships including Marketbook etc. I was able to order a 2023 Peterbilt 567 should be here by the end of July. The price tag wasn't cheap though.

Yes it is. So far I went out for about 10 days and it worked just fine. It did not get two hot in the 80s I believe. I park at night most of the time as well. I do my ten and leave most every day. I did spend about 20 hours on Friday and it did fine. Will be going back out end of the week and next week to really test it out. I left the fridge, cellphone booster, and camera system running right now to see if it dies out. It will be off for 5 days total before restarting the truck.

Curious how this works out. Can you link me to what system you have and all in installed price? TK’s working well but expensive.

$261k (Cad) (including taxes) $5k down. Paccar MX 13 (510 Hp) 250 wheel base, 78" bunk. Once its done I'm probably putting another $20k down in order of lowering the payments. A week ago I was talking to a sales guy about a 2010 Freightliner Cascadia with 430,000 mi on the motor asking for $286k. Problem with that is 'I dont know how well someone else drove that truck or took care of it.. ?'..that Freightliner was way too much for that price.

Depends on your situation. How you drive and set. For me I think the electric is better.

Also you will have to update your alternator to a larger one and I did this when I ordered the truck. This the one I got on my truck (
320 AMP LEECE-NEVILLE HIGH OUTPUT ALTERNATOR WITH 12 0 REMOTE BATTERY VOLTAGE SENSE (12V)
I also had the solar panel installed for that price I gave you earlier.
