I have seen in recent weeks that used truck inventory is building up fast to 2019 levels. new truck inventory is following not far behind. .unused 2023 389 is around 220 from a private seller . And thats what dealers are trying to push it for . Wait time for aero trucks have significantly decreased from 8 to 12 months to 2 to 3 months. I had a few calls in last few weeks from a dry van place for available rentals at somewhat reasonable prices. Market is shifting fast.

I said about a year ago, wait a year everyone, the bubble is going to burst then.

Houses around me are sitting unsold despite being lowered $100,000.
Used cars are all over, sit there for months unsold.
Truck and trailer dealers are calling me weekly with 'deals'.
2023 is going to go down in history as a great time to buy, and some of those heavily financed peeps are going to be crying to their bankruptcy trustee.

I'm shopping for a dry van and I'm already starting to see prices dropping. Tractors too.

I just sold 4 2019 vans today for $180,000 If only I’d sold 6 months ago it probably would have been $220,000

Oh well, better then $140,000 in 6 months from now.

I guess you could say I’d already made new purchases and upgrades the last two years but In the form of reefers. So got some equity back out of these. This batch were my oldest vans and decided to move them before they lost further value. I hadn’t used them much in the last two years. Should have sold earlier but I’m an equipment hoarder. (That’s what my wife says)

I promised her I’d sell two trucks as well. :|

    As are all guys.

My yard looks like a scrap pile in some areas.
If you need a broken truck, or junk trailer, maybe a busted dozer, I'll sell it to you lol
