Right at 12k a year so 1K a month.
Good thing is I do not compete with people trying to go out of business. So you are right I cannot compete with you. I only do loads for profit regardless of how much I pay out. Smart business means making money and not working just to work. Hopefully you are the one doing the $1 a mile loads and living in your truck so you can compete with the other guy trying to go belly up.

Why do you think I make less than you with
your new truck? I just finished a 2 day load,
less than 1000 miles for $2900. Not going to a dead area.
My 20K dollars truck is approaching $200 000
revenue when the maintenance so far is like

The simple answer would be that some of us have driven older “real” trucks and prefer not to anymore. Good thing we’re still allowed to make choices like that.

Do you do your own wrenching and only consider the parts as your .08 a mile?
