Waiting to load and unload hos

    That's fine and dandy but the DOT would have to prove you were not relieved of duty during that time. Of which no company is going to say you were or weren't if they're worth their weight in dog crap because they don't know.

    My company doesn't know what I do when I hit the dock. Most of the time I take my dog for a walk. If I can't do that, I get on this or other forums. If not that I sleep. But while playing on the computer I might need to watch the dock light to know when I'm ready to go. But I don't consider that on duty. Why? Because I don't HAVE to do that. I could wait for someone to knock on my door with my paperwork. I watch the light as a courtesy not a necessity.

    maybe they have secret cameras set up across the country to catch truck drivers going off duty when they should be in sleeper
