There used to be a truck stop down in Florida on hwy 27 just south of the turnpike that had signs stating that they would fine you $100 for littering. The lot was always clean. I think they had camera's around the lot. I believe Pilot bought the truck stop and leveled the old building.

You got that right! --at least that's the case at our local WalMart.

Our big problem is the street people camping out. They leave their trash too. And they have absolutely destroyed the landscaping. Lush grass plots have been trampled down to barren dirt. Most of them seem to have dogs too. --So dog crap all over. Aggressive panhandling as well.

At least the drivers are more likely to spend a few bucks at the store vs. the local street people constantly shoplifting and panhandling.

It's not just a trucker problem, it's a problem with society in general.

About a week ago I was sitting in my car having a quick bite with my better half before heading back into the stores, where we hoped to spend the last dime left on our last charge card all in an effort to make a chinaman rich (JK). Okay, so we were Christmas shopping for the kiddies.

Anyways, a good looking Pete pulls into the Wal-Mart (Shopping center) parking lot here in Hilliard, Ohio and pulls to the south edge of the lot; obviously to be out of shopper's way. I thought, "now there is a considerate driver."

Just after the driver exited the rig and while he was walking toward the Wal-Mart building a security guard drove up to him and started pointing toward the North side of the lot where Wal-Mart had blocked off a large area for "Truck Only Parking." The driver turned around threw his hands up in the air and headed for his truck. I then heard the security guard yell "If that is a problem you are welcome to leave the lot."

The driver ignored him and moved his truck to the North side of the lot. He did go into a store, just not Wal-Mart. I think everyone lost that day.

99% of the reason is the idiot drivers that leave pee bottles, crap bags and litter in the parking lot. Personally I really cant blame WalMart.

I cant blame them as well, To many dirt bag drivers that through there urine bottles on the ground, along with other trash, Ive had drive tell me, "Its job security", Not sure what that means, I dont park at walmart any way, But, Most walmarts wont allow over night parking, but there are a few that are trucker friendly
