Wal Mart NOT Trucker Friendly

The only WalMart that I have found that wouldnt let me stay there is Los Lunas, NM. Even the ones that say No Parking always let me stay there when I would ask.

The wal mart where I live let's me park any time I want too. For as long as I want. But I do ask EVERY time. I have parked at many wal marts in other states. I go ask never assume! If I see trucker trash I pick it up. I also make it a point to thank the manager for letting me ( us) park there

 

I always park around back, and say. "Yes, I'm delivering." Then leave at 6AM.

 

Are walmart has 15 trucks and some trailers in the lot! But we are a small town of 3,000 people.

 

If you park a Walmart or any other parking area, make sure you leave the area as clean as it was when you arrived. No business wants to have to pick up trash or urine bottles from people who are too lazy to clean up after themselves. That is one of the main reasons why so many businesses and property owners don't want trucks parking on their lots. I have know some who welcomed truckers at one time. They closed their parking area after drivers trashed their property. There used to be a very good place where I parked my trucks. Truckers trashd the property so badly that the owner put up a steel cable to prevent truckers from parking. Some even left old tires. Someone even left an old moble home that had been destroyed on the property. I hated to lose the parking, but could not blame the owner. I was ashamed of those who thought so little of themselves, their fellow drivers and this property owner, that they trashed it. Unfortunately, I don't think that it was just one driver, either. Some of us had used this parking area for years. Most of us cleaned up after ourselves. I recall one who hauled in gravel and spread it on his dime. Then along came a few who ruined it for the rest of us.

I do not understand the urine bottles. Are you just that dang lazy? Every rest area has a bathroom you can dump your waste or even a RV dump. Would you want someone parking in your yard or driveway dumping stuff when they leave? Personally I try not to use a bottle but when I do it is a Black antifreeze jug that I can pour out and rinse with bleach. It will get to the point that we will not even be able to park at docks we are delivering early in the morning. Funny thought your at walmart parking lot you blow a air line it rains a little no big deal crawl under and fix the line the you notice a distinct odor seems someone the day before was to lazy to dispose of there urine in the right place. Food for thought......

 

This the way was here in our city too, our wall-mart, well exwife said i took better care of that parking lot then they did, i got my reward one night, when the manager came out one night as they watched a trucker on cam throw his trash out the window, i just got there, them two were going at it, i just about jump in my car , when the trucker yelled , what about him, he has too leave to, the manager said no, he cleans up after you guys he staying, i didn't know what too say, after that, i mean i get the rake out , rake down the curbs , tire rut's, trim up there little trees all on me , so i earned my spot there.

 

My instructor would kick his piss bottles out of the truck into whatever lot we were parked at. He never used the indoor facilities. He would piss in a bottle or on some tires, if he had to go crap he would do it under the trailer.
Alot of truck drivers are nothing more than homeless drunks with jobs.
