    Exit 236, Lexington, NE.

They built the extra area in 2006.

I shop at walmart, to the drivers that made the statement there are pigs in all walks of life. But the reason us truckers stand out is that we dont have a local place to go home to so as a driver we are home and they leave there trash behind hence why we get the bad profile. i myself just dont stop anywhere if i park in a walmart i make sure there is adequete parking and dont leave a mess if i am not able to park then i go on down the road while there are those of u who will critizie me but so be it...even if im over my hours of service log book will take care of itself. then i will find a place where i find a place who knows i may be able to get a extra 100 miles behind

BTW, I took the picture from my truck which was parked in the appropriate area ... with lots of room for more trucks, including this dope.

the wal-mart at moberly, mo has trucks parked all the time but they are at the far edge of the lot. i was there today and ther wer at least five on one side and 6 or eight parked in behind the gas station part junction of hwy 24 and hwy 63 moberly, mo but i suspect some of them were delivering to the DC that is built right behind it

There is 2 sides to this, wanna hear them?

WalMart: Truckers leave pee bottles, trash, and are disgusting. They have no respect. Our parking lot was not designed for heavy vehicles for a long amount of time.

Drivers: We buy things from WalMart, so why can't we park here? Piss on em' (throws pee jug out)

Ahh, yes, here friends we have written proof and based upon the written proof above: The problem is NOT them. The IS "SOME" of us..... or at least the evidence would suggest so....

I for one have parked at Walmarts before, shopped, and left. I don't remember but 2 occassions we ever needed to park overnight and in both occassions the Walmart was a known 'truck' walmart as in it had trucks there in droves nightly.

I never assumed it was ok to take a 10 hour at a walmart? You'd get the same reception parking your big rig for 10 hour breaks at ANY store, Target, Sears, Home Depot, etc. Its a store not a truck stop.

I spend alot of $ at Walmart, wish I didn't since they are part of the problem, but eh. Last time we spent like 200 bucks there. You park go in buy your stuff and leave you have no issue. If you have to take a 10 hour at a Walmart eh???

Also... if Walmart opened truck stops... wow that be the end of every truck stop chain I know.

From my expirence if you go an talk with the manager they will usually let you park on their lot.

On I-49 at mm16 or17 the WalMart has truck parking in the front of the store.

It's up to the store manager if they will allow truck parking or not. Some welcome it and some set up those barricades that don't allow a tall truck to pass under it.
