I had a lawyer look at mine before leasing to Bruce Oakley. Turns out, a dispatcher can't fire you and you can get back $ for pump, tank, and 30 days average minus fuel to get a new lease. Beside, they have to come to your house to retrieve all of it. This was just a lease, not a purchase.

I don't believe many people really start out with that intention or attitude, they just get into a bad spot and don't know what to do.
I just made my 1st post on this site looking for a way to avoid not paying. I want to pay and keep my truck but don't know where to find someone to give me the chance. This could kill me and I hate being the person it makes me out to be.

nobody "decides" to be late. You just try your best but in life #### happens.

Just curious, how do you feel about all those corporations and banks that didn't pay their bills in the recession ?

No. Swift will sue and F your credit. They will also report an abandoned truck on your DAC even if you turn it in at a terminal.

Once you know the term and condition of your lease, you might can walk away without any debts being owed to the company
