    It’s so simple yet so many people fall for this bs, the bs of “being your own boss”

    You’re not your own boss when you lease from the company you drive for, you’re just a dummy who is buying the truck for that company on top of earning them money by driving it.

    Wanna be your own boss? Buy a truck from a 3rd party who has no interest in you failing.

    Not to mention relieving them of the burden of shelling out for workers comp, paid holidays, and 1/2 the employees annual govt pension and unemployment insurance expenses (at least up here)

    No such thing as a walk away lease. They will claim the fire extinguisher is missing or something. Dishonest drivers could raid the trucks for parts the night before they inspect it, and mechanics do not get paid some cases unless they find something. Also big companies rotate parts before they fail replacing them. Don't be surprised $

    To disarm you they will find a bunch of stuff they found wrong but fixed for free, that you have no clue on half of it. Eventually you will forget about it.
