Rolldice25 you should immediately go into the safety coordinators office and tell them your story. You listed so many violations but the 2 biggest is your mentor should not be memorizing your ss# or your login number, that number is for you and you alone. Another thing when the truck is moving no one should ever be on the top bunk, period. Tell the safety coordinator and tell him for those reasons you are leaving the company. You may want to call on those places that @Chinatown has listed but you can and you will get another trucking job. Then like someone mentioned you need to get a job focused and solely driving the truck non of this unloading bull crap. Being exhausted and driving these big trucks will get you. You must respect the equipment you are operating. If you do not have adequate sleep it will bite you big time. Everyone learned at different paces and if you have a driver mentor they should be well aware of that but they should also be aware that sleep is the 2nd most important thing to a truck driver the 1 st and for most important thing is keeping the truck within the lines. The backing of the truck will only get better with each time you do it. Best of luck to you and keep us posted on where you go next. Truck drivers can make a darn good living so we’re glad you joined our truck driving family.
