I worked there for about 7 years.. they never had lumpers on the property. The had employees and a receiving crew and a shipping crew. The only outside people were in charge of the pallets. They may have done this in the last 6 years..

The only 2 I have ever dealt with was the one in Serta, Texas and Centerville, Utah. both were drop and hook and the guards were very helpful and friendly.

Walmarts are pretty bad. Lowes isn't much better. It's just the cranky guards at the gate.

Same with the Home Depot in Redlands, CA. One of the guards there stepped in front of my truck while I was rolling at the speed limit I was supposed to go and she gave me a dirty look like it was my fault.

and I love going to walmarts and lowes
I know exactly when to be there
    now i will be 2 1/2- 3 hours
    then I leave
I plan around it and am never late or expect them to be something they are not

of course if I didnt deliver meat to Publix , Winn Dixie , Sav A Lot. Great Wide , Hannaford

maybe I would realize how bad WM is until then the above are worse

    RedForeman Thanks this.

I've delivered plastic goods, dog food and bottled water to the Ardmore DC. The lumper fee was prepaid on the bottled water and dogfood. I had to write a check for the plastic goods. All depends on the shipper I guess.
