Nah... nobody has the right to put a camera in my home! But I wish you all the luck in the world! To each his own!

Thanks for the info! How bout their insurance-any good? I have a pre existing medical issue that i'm worried wont be covered for a year if i make the move. Also, keep seeing posts about all "the rules"' what gives on that?

Wow, talk about boring. No one talks on the CB anymore.. Are you only allowed to press the skip button so many times a day on the radio? Let me ask this.. Do they honestly know if you have more than 6 ten minute phone calls or is it just a rule to make the insurance happy but they really don't pay much attention to it?

How much experience did you have before Walmart hired you? And how many, if any, tickets or accidents have you had and your years of experience were with how many companies?

Insurance is good so far. I didn't have any thing in my MVR, I've had my CDL for 19 years and I'm 38 now. Cell phone are checked if you get in a accident. But that being said you can talk all you want as long as your not on the driving line. Hope I got all the questions answered.

No problem. I'm not interested in wal mart but im very curious what kind of cameras are installed in your truck? I mean.. Other than in a accident.. How can they tell how many calls you make a day and length?

No cameras in the trucks as of today but never know what is coming down the pipe. Not sure. I stay under the limit on calls so I haven't worried about it.

By expecting the driver to turn over their cell phone records for a particular day in question is how the company would possibly know. This works well for a driver who is honest, but not for those who are using a different phone the company does not know about, or even talking via VOIP through apps such as Skype or Hangouts. The policy looks good on paper, but without a camera watching the driver, it is too easy for a dishonest driver to not follow company policy regarding cell phone use while driving. As of this date no cameras are in Walmart trucks. It has been discussed, but nothing has been implemented thus far.
