Anyone hear about a rumor of 45 or so drivers that just quit at a location in region 1?

 

Haven’t heard the rumor. Where’s region 1?

 

Sacramento, the drivers that transferred there from other DC's were told they would be getting the 10% premium pay like New York drivers get and also that they wouldn't be exclusively pulling loads for the nearby grocery DC but neither happened.

 

The grocery DC is on the opposite side of a mountain pass that requires trucks to chain up all winter. I think after doing that twice a day for nearly a month helped contribute to their decision

 

I was just thinking about that chaining up nonsense today as I was driving around Florida in the rain. I thought, man this isn’t so bad! No thanks, I’ll stick with the rain, heat and humidity.
