I don't know who "Mr. F" is. But they sure F'ed this situation up. And if he was involved, he, along with everyone else involved, should probably find something else to do, because they're clearly not good at this.

dwells40, braceface and truckdriver31 Thank this.

They turned what should’ve been a very simple deal in giving a reasonable pay raise to the folks who keep things moving and they absolutely screwed it up in epic fashion…there’s no valid excuse for this mess…to sit there and advertise that Walmart drivers are the best and then stab them in the back is nonsense…time for Walmart to walk the walk and pay everyone like they they’re best like the say…shouldn’t matter what dc they’re out of…everyone drives the same equipment for the same company…

Seriously, did they think we "Won't get fooled again"

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

We all have a "vote". It's called "our feet."

Unfortunately too many of us have gotten too "comfortable". So, sadly, we won't "vote with our feet."

I'd walkout tomorrow if others would too. But not enough of us will right now.

What will happen is, we will lose good drivers from the fleet over time because management has displayed their lack of credibility, and, quite honestly, their lack of respect for, and recognition of, what we do. Unfortunately, those departures won't have any impact because they're not all done at once in a unified way over this issue. So, they'll just chalk them up to other factors. Because management is not self aware enough to realize what they've done. Besides, their egos won't allow them to ever admit they were wrong about anything.

These IDIOTS have turned this "career" into just another "job". When I came here, I expected to "end my career" here. Now, I'm pretty sure that I'll just "quit my job" here at some point and move on to drive somewhere else. So, much for "having a career at Walmart", huh?

Sam Walton would rolling over in his grave to see how far this company has fallen as it pertains to how management views employees especially the drivers. He had the right mentality…take care of the people that make you money and they will take care of you in return and everyone wins with that in terms of company makes great $$ and drivers/employees will too…
