Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

That's true. It also applies to me if I want to change positions in the company so I can't really complain. I just know there's going to be a lot of bitter drivers that might even leave because of it.
-
Yeah, more than likely as people get pushed down again and again..timdriver81 Thanks this.

I honestly think this is pretty wild. At my company you have company seniority, and then seniority in the division you run. When you change divisions, your company anniversary is still the same, but you don't get to bump everyone down. Here's an example...
I'm a local driver for 20 years. I decide I want to do linehaul, I'm tired of city work. I go to the bottom of the seniority board for linehaul. The guy that got hired 12 hours ago has more seniority than me. They do give you a week grace period in case you decide you wanna stay where you're at.
Sorry for long rant.Speed_Drums and laaylor Thank this. -
They only keep their company seniority for vacation. They start at the bottom for job bidding.
-
Ahh interesting. I just saw I got bumped down on the driver board and assumed it was for everything.
-
So it's only for vacation? They're still below you as far as trucks, routes, etc?
-
That's correct according to 710er.laaylor Thanks this.
