Hello all...I applied a week ago to the Raymond NH DC. Website says it was received and I know that no news is good news....so I’m waiting. Just curious if anyone on here knows anything about Raymond...is it a good DC to run out of? I had considered applying to the Lewiston one as well. It’s a little further then I’d like to travel but I’d be willing to.

Any info/tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

I retired from there a year ago, lots of stores in MA so hope you like traffic, you could also end up in PA, NJ and Long Island. If you deliver in ME then will certainly go to Lewiston, sometimes if they're very busy in Lewiston they'll deadhead drivers up there.

Does Walmart plan on going 100% private fleet at all DCs ?

 

That would be nice. I'm not going to hold my breath though. Between grocery and gm, we just have way too many loads to cover. It would require Walmart to add hundreds if not thousands of trucks and drivers.
