    I hear that. I gave my notice before all the checks had been completed because I wanted to give 2 weeks to my current job...even though now, they are starving me and making me sit. Whatever...

    I’ve had so many background checks I would be shocked if I didn’t pass. Hazmat, twic, fastcard/passport, school bus etc...

    I “rolled the dice” and so far so good. I’ll find out this week if I rolled wrong and don’t get my flight info for next Sunday lol.

    I respectfully disagree;
    Being totally honest is only half the battle.
    It may come down to whatever that I think is fine and dandy may not be the case with Walmart.

    Sorry to hear that your current job is treating you that way.
    Sadly, we’re just commodities nowadays and nothing more.

    RickyBobby314 and T.Rucker Thank this.

    Doubt it.

    I’d bet it was one of the adult males trolling some hookup site masquerading as a 15 yr old girl.

    nope if you meet the qualifications and are totally honest and do a good job in on-boarding. then you are set. i understand the worry. it took me 3 months from start to finish. i knew i wouldnt leave wm anytime soon. so i called my employer and said peace and never looked backed.

    Again; being totally honest is seperate from meeting all the qualifications, although both are equally important.
    The point here is that an applicant may not even be aware of an item on his background check that might be an issue with Walmart’s hiring standards.

    These third party, applicant research contractors (such as Hire Right) that are retained from companies that are requesting the background checks are often sloppy and incomplete, and occaisionally are even inaccurate. And added to this is the very strong possibility of a past employer reporting erroneous information that the previous employee might be totally unaware of.

    As a result, being totally honest along with the belief that you meet all the qualifications guarantees nothing.

    i checked my hire right and criminal background and dmv before i applied. i did my on home work. if you got nothing to hide then you will be fine. i will promise you one thing. if you dont tell them up front about something. then stay where you are. they will find out about it. then your toast.

    How were you able to access your Hire Right report before you applied?
