I agree Jim. It is a good trade-off having more time with friends and family. I also agree about the trucks because the Internationals and Petes cause pain in surgically repaired right leg, where the Freightliners do not cause any discomfort. I suppose the ergonomics match up to my body better! :)

That's where I applied to Jim the same place your at now, it's 125 miles from my house and I really wanted to get into Smyrna Delaware because I live in Wilmington but I'll take anything rite now but with my record and ask my years of driving ask the miles I've ran aren't verifiable so I would probably be bottom of the barrel pick funny thing is it was the same way when I played footbal tool lol

You work the same number of days per year on the 5/2 5/3 as you would on the 6/3. I come off the 6/3 to the 5/2 5/3. Should have my own truck by end of Feb. Have 14 guys retiring/ transferring out in Jan.

Wow. That is a lot of drivers moving out. We won't have a large movement like that here. It will be more like one or two next year. Hey Jim did you get a turkey yet? I don't think they do that down here. Haven't heard anything about it.

That's very cool grabber! Waiting to see when it will happen here so I can bid for that. Sounds like a cool thing to do.

I just hope Walmart Trucking is a much better employer than working in the store. Just left Walmart stores after two yrs of PT slave wages, crappy benefits, no holidays or holiday pay, and working every weekend, or crappy shift, Christmas day and Thanksgiving day. I was an exemplary worker with NO marks against me, until I started pushing hard for FT employment and questioned management about their favoritism in promoting. Took the manager just 30 days to make up something to fire me. Just be very careful if they run their trucking division anything like the stores. it's ALL about CEO profit!
