Received a phone call from Kathleen today! Very quick on account that I just applied lol but then again tobyhanna posted for drivers today. Interview set for tomorrow can’t wait , hopefully I do good.

 

Guys have been quitting Tobyhanna in droves so they're probably really eager to get new drivers in quicker at that place than others.

 

Then what happens? All the driving jobs will be gone?

 

No I'm simply stating that many won't even see their job going away until it's gone... Frankly Sam Walton would be rolling over in his grave to see what has happened to that company...

 

No, Walmart will hand you an application for Swift/Knight Transportation and tell you they're your new boss. But don't forget you can use Walmart as a reference.

 

I just don't understand some here and especially on the facebook group, doesn't seem like they will be happy until everyone quits. It's not hard to predict the demise of the private fleet, you will never get called out on being wrong, you can just keep saying it's coming or its still not the same company it used to be, yeah well everything changes and there will always be a need for well qualified safe drivers.

I'm riding it out and cashing checks until I no longer can adjust to the changes, but one thing that won't happen I won't be persuaded by negative nannices and rumors about what might happen. It's still too good of a job to walk away from.

 

Passed the first interview, on to the 2nd interview PT&RT !

 

We're all still cashing checks. Doesn't mean Private Fleet has peaked and is now on a downward spiral after new year. I'm not going to praise Walmart because nowhere did I see that on Executive side they laid off or took paycuts. Typical corporate bs. If you don't like honesty or as you call it negativity you should consider Starting a new thread...
