Yet they r making The fleet more efficient? Good choice of words to use where in essence it’s really for the executives. If they r doing this while reaping record profits imagine what they’ll do when times get tough. I enjoyed the People and the job while I was there but just wasn’t for me anymore and after seeing what they r doing I can say it was a good choice.

 

That's what pisses me off the most! You can turn on the national news almost daily and see a story about how well Walmart is doing. They're treating the drivers like scum just the same as they do all the store associates. This job isn't for a well experienced trucking vet anymore, it's for some punk that's only been behind the wheel for 2-4 years driving for crappy companies like Werner and thinks this will be a step up.

Does anyone else smell a rat ? All we've been told past few months over and over was how Walmart couldn't keep up with competitors like Amazon. Then we got corn-holed a month or so ago reason being very weak growth, yada yada yada. You guys know it by heart. Then magically after they stick it in our backs ... Now the sky is the limit? Wtf? Of course this good news comes out after we take it lying down. Happy Holidays gang!!!

Yep exactly. My opinion is it’s still a good job enjoyed the people I worked with but that’s not to say what’s right in front of peoples faces is big changes which is happening and flat out lies to make excuses for the changes. The Too executives no matter how many messages they send over the ObC does not care about the private fleet like Walmart used to care about it. They won’t have any hesitation making more and more changes to compete with the likes of swift, Schneider etc. no thanks. That’s not. A job for me but not knocking anyone that it is for. Just my 2 cents. Stay safe y’all
