Walmart here I come!

No kidding rick I was beginning to think I was never gonna get a call. I didn't get florida like I wanted, just to many better qualified guys above me. But I got the chance to get my foot in the door and im dang sure gonna take it!!

I didn't make the cut on the first batch that was hired, either. I was in the second batch. Only 1.5+ million safe. But, I'm not going to complain. I'm here.

Knock them dead at the interview and the pre-trip, test drive !!! We have faith in you !!!

 

Thanks Rick!! im gonna give it a heck of a try. if everyone at walmart transportation is as friendly as the lady that called me for the interview, this is gonna be alright. she went through my other apps to check and make sure I couldn't interview for one of the florida dcs. then explained to me why I wasn't gonna be able to. then explained to me how preference worked very helpful lady.

 

good luck!! It can be nerve racking, but be honest and smart with your answers. If you pass the interview, you will probably road test later that day.

The road to Sunshine will just have to go through Sealy.... which is not a bad thing. A lot of good people here, and man they have some who can kick butt cooking BBQ!

Flights from Houston to Florida are quite cheap too, so you can always pay your daughter a visit in the meantime.

 

Demi, they changed the process a bit a few months ago. The Pre-trip/Road test will occur on a different day, especially since mruffin lives in another state.

 

that's my plan tom already done some research on the flights. Samantha told me to put my year in and the day after its up put in a preference for florida. she said it doesn't go by seniority so I should have a good shot.

 

Shoot! Yeah good info and pay me no mind then!! Good luck though and the first part of the still stands and the call/interview is huge. Can't wait too hear about the interview.
