Walmart here I come!

I love reading about you all you new guys getting hired! Almost 16 years at Wal-Mart and getting close to retirement. Still glad I got the opportunity to drive for them and I don't know anywhere else I'd rather be!

Well its finally official, got the final offer today. Start orientation march 10 th in sealy. WAL-MART HERE I COME !!!

Hearty congratulations Mike! From first interview to final offer was only 8 days! That certainly made up for all the waiting just to get a call! When I went through last summer it took about 4 weeks from first interview to final offer. I was among the first batch to be put through a new background check system, and it was very buggy. Looks like it has been smoothed out now!

March 10th will be here before you know it!

 

thanks tom!! I completed the background check online late wed night after my road test. it showed competitive on Tuesday, my employer sent over last bit of info they needed yesterday so went pretty smooth.

 

Congrats welcome to wal mart. I have been with them 10 months in opelika al. But live in fl. And love my job. Great people to work with.

 

It sure has bud I'm really looking forward to it. This morning up here windchill was bout 5 below. I was unloading 16 pallets of carpet tile at a job site freezing my butt off. The whole time I was thinking just a few more weeks and I don't have to do this anymore lol

 

First I would like to congratulate mruffin. I myself am a recent new hire so I understand your excitement. I have a question for the veteran drivers. I've signed up for a 6/3. We have a few that recently became open so I stand a good chance of landing one. My question is how do you have enough hours for the 6th day? I #### near run my 14 out everyday 5 days a week. How do you 6/3 guys do it?
