You log off duty when you legally can. I always have 10 to 12 hours on the 6 th day. Once you get on it and rolling you will love it.

That's right save as much of ur 70 as you can legally by logging off duty .. in California we have to take a mandatory meal break every 5hhrs for 30 mins so I'll put those in while waiting to get loaded at a vendor or waitimg at a DC and we get paid UT for it in California.

Yeah I love the job its ez money. Just haven't received a full 2 weeks check yet but I've been doing the math and my ADP is about 300 so it should be a good check. If i lived by my DC I could of went home 3 times this week . So my wife and I are looking to move closer to the DC :). Other then that no pressure other then today they want me to gate my Vegas by 1330 pacific time for some reason but I should be ok on time no traffic on a Sunday.

Thanks for the input guys. I look forward to getting on the program. Right now I'm an extra slip seating. It's a bit of a nuisance swapping trucks 2-3 times a week. But I'm not gonna complain. Just happy to be aboard.

Yes you can just can't claim ur layover pay at home. My mentor and I were together 8 days we did six and he said I was good but I asked him if we could do a remix grocery load and some neighborhood markets which are springing up all over on the west coast. which I'm glad we did a lot of different paper work compared to a division 1 store.

    mruffin Thanks this.
