Walmart here I come!

im still a bit nervous about it but im sure once I get going it will be alright. I found an apartment in katy was suppose to move in this week. dang construction got delayed cause of the weather so I don't move in until the 15th. they are gonna put me up in hotel though since im moving from so far away. I move out of my place here in the morning. headed down that way after I meet my daughter for breakfast and say our goodbyes.

 

kay sent me my schedule for orientation looks like its gonna be a full week that's for sure. there was suppose to be ten of us but I guess something must have happened to one of them cause there is just 9. going by last name it looks like im number 7 on seniority. looks like its gonna be a long time until I get on a program being that low on the list.

 

Hi Mrpeanut, I am also a Holland driver. I applied in January and got a call last week. Did my first phone interview on Friday. It was a success! They said I would be getting a call for personal interview and pre trip/roadtest within two weeks. Washington Court House. Hope to be part of the Wal-Mart family soon.

 

Hey Guy's, I missed the call for a phone interview today and tried calling back but no answer,Am i outta luck now? What times are they in the office till? Thanks!

I don't know for sure about that one. I'd say it's not gonna be good. That's why they schedule it a week or so out so you can make arrangements . Your also suppose to call them and let them know if you can't take the call for any reason. even up to a hour or two before you can reschedule. You might have a shot if you have a really good reason.

 

Don't let the seniority thing stand in your way, if a program is posted, APPLY!!! You may he surprised at the results.

missing a call isn't good btw. Not to say it is the end of the world, but it couod cause you to go to the end of the line so to speak.

Thanks guy's,I might be wording it wrong, it was the first call i got from them. I've tried and tried calling her back but can't get an answer. It's not the over the computer interview
