Walmart here I come!

mike5511, you are all over the board with your statement. Do you have any core beliefs or do you choose to use a straw man argument that every where a person would go is the same? The turnover rate at Walmart Transportation is low with above average earnings potential in place. The turnover rate is very high in the other areas of Walmart, which is the overwhelming majority of those employed by Walmart, where earnings potential are low. Sure, the job of driving a truck for Walmart is pretty simple. The job alone does not keep the turnover rate low.

Pride is certainly not a positive in the bible. Any Christ follower understands this. I often refer to Galatians 6:3.

 

The same applies to obeying the law. The law is just that, you do what your asked to do and do it right you will be fine.

As for big paychecks, good for you. You certainly earned it.

 

my plan is to just to obey the rules do my job and go home. i plan on doing everything i can to stay under the radar. im just here to better my life for my daughter and i. i can see how some people may not fit for one reason or another. i finished my orientation today , man im glad thats over LOL. i even got the leave out day i wanted so its going good so far. now i can move in that condo in galveston tomorrow because i have a saturday leave out instead of through the week so traffic shouldnt be as bad.

 

i caught that too from the info they gave us in orientation. some of the guys were saying they wanted them big mile runs i was all about the activity and the shorter runs.

 

i don`t expect this job to be perfect but i can see a way to accomplish the things i want to over the next few years. that was something i couldnt see at my last job. so its more of a relief for that im feeling from being here more than anythng else.

 

Mike, that is great getting a Saturday leave out day. You still get paid the extra weekend pay and not have to deal with heavy traffic getting to Sealy.

 

ya tom that ended up working out better than expected. i thought i was going to get a thursday or friday. so i was pretty happy about that , iwas number 7 out of 9 in my class so didnt expect that.

 

plus it work out better for my daughter coming to visit. she can come in wed night stay thursday and friday night with me then leave out saturday instead of in the middle of the week. things are looking up for me here lately. i got the leave out day i wanted. i was getting ready to leave galveston last friday, was suppose to sign the lease on the condo before i left. the lady got busy said just wait until you get back next friday. so i came up to sealy planning on getting that condo. one night i thought ill just look around a little bit more, make sure its the best deal. i found another condo in the same exact complex for 250 a month less money. its owned by a private party instead of managed by a company so got it cheaper. so im moving in that one tomorrow. its all coming together for once lol

 

thanks matt!! no problem they had a lot going on today trying to get us in the system. im going out with a guy name Lee on tuesday. they are having a problem because you can only reset once in 7 days. so we all are going to be off extra days before we can go on our regular schedule.
