    Curious, how long did ya'll have to wait for background checks to be complete. Im going on 10 business days now. No email thank god! but no phone call either.

    Go to the online site where they had you submit for the background check. If it says "competitive", you are good. It is says "non-competitive", that is bad. If it says neither, then it is still pending.

    Thanks Tom. Actually just called the DC and talked to HR. Im good to go and orientation should start May 5th Looks like there is only 3 people in the class as they didnt find the 10 they were looking for.

    What is the smoking policy in the trucks at Walmart. My company says that there is to be no smoking at all, but drivers still smoke in them. I don't smoke and it is hard to drive in a truck that has been heavily smoked in (allergies).

    We have smoking only and non smoking designated trucks. They will when you tell them put you in a non smoking truck if it bothers. They want you to be comfortable when out on the road.

    Orientation day for me is May 5th. Looks like just 2 people in the class for now. Not sure why they never got the 10 there were wanting to hire.

    Glad to hear boy howdy! Justified, mostly what happens is drivers will not make it through the interview, the pre trip or the road test. Some get through all that but they missed something in their back ground check. With it just being two of you your orientation may only be four days instead of five. Either way its all good!
