No pets. This includes dogs, cats, and rocks. Your not going to be away from home that long any way.

Wal-mart has a very generous rider policy, but a one word pet policy … no. Most of the trucks, especially for new drivers are slipseat positions and that excludes having pets.

Why yes I did! I had a great opportunity to meet him about two weeks ago. I told him I would love to do one for him and well....you know the rest. I don't try to hide myself.

Yeah its been non stop on the west coast the only DC I've had to sit and wait and it was only for over night was Red Bluff but then I went to Vegas from their. We also have a lot of senior guys on LOA or vacation which has been great because I haven't had to switch trucks for the entire week since January.

Got onto a 5/2 5/3 program that starts at the end of the month. Looking forward to it. Very busy up our way. Lots of dedicated in and mandatory work extensions. About to hit 7 million safe miles at our DC. Hope to keep that trend going. Still happy with the choice I made to come here. I came from one of those 'good' teamster jobs. Don't regret my decision one bit. I have more flexibility here then I did at my 'good' teamster job. Money is about the same as my 'good' teamster job. Atmosphere is 90% better than at my 'good' teamster job. I am micromanaged here less than at my 'good' teamster job. If I need some help, need something fixed, or have questions I can talk to a person on the phone or face to face if I need it. Wasn't like that at my 'good' teamster job. Had to fax a piece of paper in or call a number and leave a message and hope it got fixed, especially log issues. And those people who fixed logs didn't work weekends even though we did. Very hard to keep orderly paperwork for DOT when you run elogs and can't get them fixed on the weekends. Lazy people made just as much money as the hard workers at my 'good' teamster job. And every guy who had 10+ years in at my 'good' teamster job complained about how much things had changed for the worse. I guess change is happening at a lot of places. Stepping off the soap box. Take care everyone.

Glad all is going well for you jfred! I appreciate your comparison and helping our outlook on the company. No one likes change, but we all have to learn to accept those changes. I do hope you get some warmer weather up your way soon, I know its already heating up down here! Hello summer and my one year is next month. Amazing how time flies when your busy, making money and are happy all the way around!
