Yes". I know drivers that have done the same... Of course with the changes that have and are occurring walmart will have to hire many new drivers in the coming years '. And not just because of the growth '. But also because of the drivers quitting because it's not what it use to be'. With inflation we are working harder without a pay increase.. I've been here 15 years

If you think you have seen changes in 15 years, you should see the changes that I have seen. But, it is still better than about anything else out there … I would rather be at the top of WM's board than the bottom of anyone else's.

I am not going to bash WM, either. When I came here, I had been a owner operator for 17 years and didn't have 2 nickels I could rub together. Since I have been here, I have bought and paid for a house, put 2 kids through college and have a half million dollar retirement (I know that isn't all that much today, but I am still working on it). It looks like WM has taken better care of me and I took care of myself. It isn't the job that it was, but still better than most.

Can't help there. When I got hired, they were still using the driver hiring committee. In fact, I was on hiring committees for about 5 years. WM did away with those a number of years ago.

I think WM was very happy with the Hiring Committee process. However, I think there was a lawsuit (Mississippi, I think) the alleged that there was discrimination in the hiring process. I know that there were lawyers that came into our office and talked to us about how we recommended drivers (our DC was very well balanced). But, through all of this, I think home office decided that they needed to make sure that they could keep control of things and keep down the lawsuits (#### lawyers).
