Hi Garysscamaro, I applied & received my call. Had my phone interview yesterday with Wal Mart in Sealy, Tx. Passed Interview & should be contacted next week to set up Road & Pre Trip Test. I live in Florida & considering moving out near Sealy, Tx. Hows the Terminal in Sealy, Tx. Drivers ? Were do the Drivers out of Sealy deliver to in Texas city wise? Does this Terminal have Refers ?

During orientation do I have to pay for my hotel or does Walmart do that?

 

This is Ricks wife.

Walmart pays for your hotel. They will also feed you well during your 5 day classroom orientation.

Walmart invests a lot of money in their drivers. You will have never had a training like you will get here. After the classroom training, the next week you will go out on the road with your mentor driver, for that week. They will put you up in motels then also. At the end of your week, if you feel comfortable you will go out on your own the next week. If not, you can stay with your mentor for another week.

Pre trip until they are sick of you pretripping, and don't curb a tire. You will be fine.

 

And be sure to stop at the RR track. When they tell you to act like you have a placard load, and then 10-15 min later you come to the RR track, it is hard to remember to stop.

 

After all the driving and drug test does walmart give u a job offer or do they wait and select the Ines they want after all interviews is done?
