Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

Gosh darn it talked to Kathy this afternoon they are 3 weeks behind
-
When Rick was waiting for orientation, it was a slow process. One guy was moving from TX and they were trying to accommodate him so he could be in the class. Finally, they couldn't wait any longer, and that guy never came.
It will come. Sometimes it isn't fast, but it will come and it will be worth it. -

This is a relatively new program. You change trucks twice during your 6 days, so you are in 3 trucks total. The reason that people like it is due to the rotating days off which gives you weekends periodically, and you will run your 70 out every week and make more money. Also, you will always have your full 2 days off.
This utilizes the trucks in the program to the fullest, as you are driving the truck when the driver who has that truck is off. You will have a truck for a week when those drivers go on vacation. Buckeye works very hard to make it where a driver does not have to change trucks, when on a 5/2. This allows trucks to be fully available for the 5/2 drivers, and the 6/2 drivers when they are off.
We will plan accordingly so it is very fast to change between trucks, as you only need to carry enough for 2 days.
I know that this isn't for everyone, but we are very excited about it. -
Huh? What schedules do you slip into 3 trucks in 6 days?
-
This is a relatively new program in Buckeye. I believe it to be a trial program here.
You work 6 on and 2 off. You will switch trucks twice, unless one of the people who's trucks are used on this program, go on vacation.
This program is to fully utilize equipment. In Buckeye, when you are on a 5/2, you will rarely have to change trucks anymore. This gives folks the opportunity to get on a program that will give you a weekend off periodically, when they do not have the longevity to get a set run that gives you weekends off, or a regular 6/2 or 6/3. -
Hmmm. 6/2 is truck assigned to the driver. No slip seating. 5/2, 5/3 is 3 drivers, 2 truck, switch each time you come back
-
This is not that program. This program is exactly as described. Buckeye has the standard 6/2 also, that requires that you have your own truck. This is called a 3 truck 6/2, and is a trial program in Buckeye. On the Spring 2015 Bid Sheet it shows a 6/2 1200, 6 Day Rotating Tractors. Rick didn't bid on, and get a program that he does not know what it is. He is standing right here, and handed me the bid sheet.
Remember that not all DC's run the same programs.
While I know it is not for everyone, we are very happy and are planning accordingly.Last edited: Jan 28, 2015
