That's fantastic news !!!! I am so happy for him and you. It will be better than you can imagine................... plus, only 1 job required !!! You guys will have to rediscover each other on real days off.
We are looking forward to weekends off every so many weeks. As car/truck enthusiasts, everything happens on weekends, so it will be great. Plus, when he gets his classic car running, he will want to vintage race it, and that is on weekends. So, this is really something to look forward to. -
Thank you, Gloria
Yes, you guys definitely need traditional weekends off!
The only reason Brian cares about having Sunday off is that is the only time he gets to see his son. Otherwise, we're not too picky about days off for the most part. -
Hey guys got a ? For you guys, I have an opportunity of signing up for a 5/2&5/3 with two Peterbilts or take a 5/2 Friday out pros and cons for each? I don't mind working weekends , I am not married no kids. The money u make extra on the weekends validate working them or not. Thanks one more day of orientation left.

5/2 Friday out you don't share your truck except with extra driver. You will extend your work week when required. They'll announce when that will be necessary.
5/2, 5/3 you share 2 trucks with three drivers. You do not extend your work week since you're considered a program driver and you have to have the truck back for the next driver. One thing that mattered to me on my 6/3 was having two of the same trucks. You don't have to refresh each week where the dash controls are in the dark during a rain event, lol.
If it were my choice I'd take the Friday out, 5/2. You're single no kids. You'll make money hand over fist since you'll be working the most days in a year, besides a ,6/2. My opinion on that, 6/2 is just not enough downtime.
Good luck.Roaddell Thanks this. -
Hi, my husband is in the interview process for walmart and he's very excited and nervous at the same time. Are there any tips you can offer for the phone interview, pretrip and road test? Any info on starting salary and benefits would be great..he's been driving for 14yrs and the last 10 have been with Fed ex, also very clean driving record...so we're keeping our fingers crossed. Thanks in advance for the info.
