We use Qualcomm as well. Mcp200 model. All on e-logs. Its a good system we have in place. Update our time as we go and are planned out so no hanging around and wait for loads.

    Hi, Fueldog, and welcome!

I'm not drozzer69, but I can help a little. I was talking to Brian as he was tucking himself into the bunk just now and I saw your question. So I asked him about it and he said to tell you that while yes, they use Qualcomm, the unit now also contains E-logs, Navigo (GPS) and OBC (On Board Computer).

    ETA: Oooops, hiya, Matt -- cross-post !!!

I beat ya to the punch!:biggrin_2559: I really do appreciate all the info that you put out when questions are asked. I don't always get to come on until the end of my day so its good that there are plenty of us who can help out at anytime.

My interview they asked about following distance, what it means to be a professional driver vs non professional, why do I want to drive for Walmart, what would I do if I was feeling fatigued, what kind of situations scare me the most while driving and some others. But I guess they change up the questions from person to person so you can't count on getting those exact ones.

No time line on that question. I'm sure they are looking into it but nothing has been said about a switch over. Paper for now.

Hey, Louisiana, and Congratzzz on getting this far!!!

Well, I can't speak for drozzer69 or anyone else here, but the biggest thing during the phone interview with my Brian was safety, Safety SAFETY ... Like, "If you're very tired, what should you do?" Correct answer? Pull over and rest/sleep. Then, "But what if the load just absolutely HAS to be there?" Correct answer: That doesn't matter -- safety comes first, so get some rest.
