Yep, this is where I am sleeping. Don't have enough time to get anywhere else. I have this truck for the whole week, and it is spotless. It makes me nervous. LOL How do I give it back better than I got it?? Plus, I am terrified to shed a hair. Oh well, if this is the biggest thing to worry about, I'm doing pretty good.
As for the auto, I find they are not programmed to work with the engine as well. They never seem to be in the right gear. Maybe it was just the ones I was in (about 7-8 years ago, so maybe they improved them).
Sweet dreams (as my son would say). LOL

I drove an automatic for a few months last fall. I was the test driver for a LNG powered Peterbilt. Honda was looking to add a few of these trucks since the price of natural gas was real cheap. The truck drove pretty well for the most part, especially in high traffic areas I was in such as Houston and Dallas. The thing I do not like about automatics is how they can respond when the roads are wet/slick. I am more old school and prefer manual shift.

Hi, just a quick question if someone can please answer I would appreciate it. If you get called for an interview, does Bentonville call you or the distribution center that you applied to? Thanks for any help
-
Bentonville will call you to schedule you for an interview at the DC you applied to.
BFL123 Thanks this. -
I second that. Driver Recruiting in Bentonville called me late in the day on a Friday to schedule me for an interview for 17 days later. It was 5 weeks after I applied before I was contacted. From what I hear, you will be contacted by mail/email even if Walmart chooses not to consider you for a position at this time.

Same here. They left a message with my wife. I'm surprised she didn't burn the buttons off the phone in her haste to call me. LOL
BFL123 Thanks this. -
Yep, they called my wife first, then she was FRANTICALLY trying to call me. She kept trying to call (the call waiting tone was driving me nuts. Thing is, I COULDN'T answer her frantic call...cuz I was talking to the guy who just talked to her asking for me! Was kind of funny, she could barely speak. Don't know who was more excited...her or me! But it was a great day (think it was a Friday as well). It took about 5 weeks to get the call. Was worth the wait. Right now I'm sitting in Denny's getting something to eat on my way home til Thurs.

Walmart here I come....too!
It is now official. I received the call from Kay/HR at the Sealy, TX DC this afternoon. I have been hired to be a part of the best transportation company in the world, Walmart Transportation!
I will have the orientation date confirmed within a day or so as there is still one other driver that has yet to be finalized. Will be either August 26th or September 9th. I am so happy to have made it through to the end of the rainbow! Oh happy day! -
