Long. Plainview covers all of west Texas, east New Mexico, a small portion of southern Colorado and the western half of Oklahoma. Lots of 3 million mile drivers their and very little movement. You may be on extra board for sometime so be patient if you get on there. Great running from what I have heard, have not pulled a load out of there since I hired on so can only give you what I know.
Walmart here I come!

Hey Timdriver81! I didn't know you were going to be out of red bluff. Man I was supposed to start today but got a call from home office on Friday that I can't start until I receive my license with hazmat endorsement on it in mail not just my temporary. I was scheduled to start but then given a no go until I receive that. Bummer. They told me As long as I get my license in mail and am cleared by TSA before June 1st I will be starting June 1st but looks like I will have to go to Porterville or Apple Valley to do orientation since there is not another orientation in Red Bluff until July. How's the first day going?Woodenleg Thanks this.

TSA is backlogged according to them so taking a while to do background clearances. Been just about 4 weeks and still have not received my license. Talked to supervisor on Friday at TSA and she is getting it pushed through according to her so should have my license with him at endorsement on it end of this week early next week.

Did you already quit your job before you got that news??Truckerjay07 Thanks this.

Good thing I run for myself woodenleg because if I worked for someone else I would have been done before I got that news. Luckily I can keep myself busy until i start the next orientation. A little hiccup in the process that's trucking not that worried about it just looking forward to getting started with Walmart.Woodenleg Thanks this.

First day was good, but our new HR person is in training so was a little unorganized. Class has 3 drivers and a new assistant safety manager that has to go through same orientation we do. Red bluff has 192 drivers and trying to get up to 230 within a couple years, so don't worry about not getting any seniority now that you got delayed. Good luck!

Cool. Good info. Thanks timdriver81. Good luck to you also! I will def see you around I'm sure. I was laughing when you said you were asking the other drivers if they were truckerjay lol they were probably thinking who's that lol.MazelTruck Thanks this.

Hello all... Do any body know how the safety bonus payment is calculated..
Do they give you so many cents per mile if so how much.. thanx in advance -
Basically take the number of miles you drove in the quarter and divide it by days worked and you will get a round about number for safety bonus. The more miles turned, the bigger the bonus.
SKYTREE and noninetofive Thank this. -
2.75 cents per mile for all miles driven in the quarter and a paid day off.
buckskin76, drozzer69, SKYTREE and 1 other person Thank this.
