Hey guys I in Sealybat the super 8 hotel have the pretrip & road test in. The morning with Tom any last min things I need to know anything would help thanks to each and everyone that post on this trend

 

Make sure before you get in the truck after you do your walk around inspection that you check for insurance card permit books fire extinguisher and check the storage compartment for your triangle reflectors.. good luck

 

I had my pre-trip and road test today, Tom is an easy going guy.
I sat down with Paul, Debra and Kay, very professional people.
They wanna make you feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
Just do what you know you can do.
The physical is what took the longest time.
As Matt and Tom had mentioned, plan on most of the day.

 

Congrats on passing your road test did they tell you when they my be doing orientation ?

 

Nope, no date was mentioned.

 

I am thinking. Around the first week in July they only do it on the start of the pay period and there on the same as my current employer

 

My wife just found this site today for me, wish I'd have known about it 3 months ago! I am also taking a pre trip and road test this week. This is a question about the pre trip. When testing the air brakes, do they want you to chock the tires and check the air brakes that way or do they just want us to bleed the brakes down until the warning buzzer goes off? Also, when we latch on to the trailer do they want us to give a tug test? I can't find the answers to these questions anywhere else. I hope this is not in the wrong spot, I am not very familiar with message boards. Any answers would be appreciated!

 

They did say they wanted to hire 6 drivers
