Don't turn the lights out just yet! LOL! I start orientation on the 27th. Rob should be squared away soon and be starting there at Toby. I am sure there will be more new recruits who will appear on this thread soon.

Jim, so glad you got set up with a 6/3. That will certainly make for more quality home time and not make the long ride back & forth seem as bad. Glad you are doing well!

 

I'm in Cali waiting to know what load they are getting me to get back to Buckeye. Tomorrow is my Friday............... woohoo !!! Then home to celebrate the wifes Bday, and our 12th anniversary.

When the freight gets lighter here, we end up going to CA more. It has been so busy that this is my first CA trip in over a month. Doesn't matter though, light miles and heavy activity, or heavy miles and light activity................ it all makes the paycheck good.

Don't worry Tom, we won't forget you. We are waiting to hear the "holy ****" after you start orientation.

 

Me too! Only one week to go! This Friday is my last day at my current job with UPS Freight.

 

Even the best jobs will always have those screwed up days from time to time. At least you were not the one who lost the key. LOL!

 

Yeah, the Rock decides that I can do 4 little hops over here in CA before picking up my beverage load and heading home. Problem is, in CA, little hops still take 2 hours each (having to drop trailers in a yard built for day cabs).

Needless to say, one is coming off. This kind of thing always happens when they get you over to CA. They conveniently forget to look at your 70.

Oh well............................ annoying day here is still better than a great day at my last job.
