When I applied, out of 200 total for Sealy at that time, only 6 were onboarded. Most don't pass the phone interview. Out of 20 that made the pre trip/road test, 6.

Me too! I'm so happy I passed my phone interview I never thought I would be this close. Going crazy waiting for the DC to call. Trying to have patience but it's hard.

How long have you been waiting Brian ?

I know this is going to sound incredible, but when Rick got hired there were over 1000 applicants. There were 10 hired in 2 groups of 5.
Of course, Buckeye hadn't hired in 6 years prior, so there were a lot of people looking to get on there.
Everyone who gets in should be very proud. While the standards may have changed a bit, especially for markets that are tougher, this is still one of the premier trucking jobs in the industry. Frankly, in how the drivers are treated, I would think that it is THE elite company in the industry. As Rick just said, for him, it was a life changing experience.
There is a reason they say "the best of the best."drozzer69 and noninetofive Thank this. -
