Walmart here I come!

How long do postings stay on the website? My DH tried to apply for Pottsville and within minutes of hitting the submit button he got a "standard" rejection stating they are looking at other candidates at this time, blah blah....
Didn't have this happen the last time so we are concerned his application was rejected for some other reason. Any insight??

 

He might have missed a question in the minimal requirements that may have kicked his app out. Also, do you live farther than 250 miles from Pottsville? That's a new requirement now.

 

I'm pretty sure he didn't miss anything...we were double checking everything!! LOL We live 180 miles from Pottsville. UGH!! Not sure what happened but the posting has been up since 6/16 so I thought perhaps it had actually closed for new applications but they didn't take the posting down. Bad thing is it won't let you apply again. Guess he will have to wait again to see if another posting comes up.

 

Call 1-800-Walmart and ask for recruiting. They can better explain what happened or if it was some kind of mistake.

Well finally got my call today. Got final offer and scheduled orientation for the 27th in Lagrange Ga. I'm 460 miles from the dc. I got told that I'll probably start working at the Lagrange for week or two then get transfered to Brooksville Fl. HT manager told me that I might be asked if I want to move close to Lagrange or be transfered to Brooksville Fl. If I'm going to move then wal mart would pay for relocation. I like it . Anyway just a little update on my status so far.

Passed everything now I just have to wait on background check! Thank you to everyone for the insight on the hiring process I appreciate it!

 

Received my call today, I start Orientation Aug 10th......

 

How would the state know who to deduct from ? Lots of opportunity for fraud. Maybe the ex wants another $50 held out ? Not without a court order. Take your documentation.
